@ginger: I wouldn't say Dany is that smart. Like I said, her whole arc in the fifth book is her not having a clue how to handle the city she's managed to take and making a mess of the whole thing.

He does. But knowing Dany she'll be opposed to it for some reason. So she'll need to be convinced, or dragged back kicking and screaming. Plus she's really, really, really far from everything so they need to get there first.

Of course, that raises the question of how their wield them if someone cuts the tail. Do they start using their hooves as ponies are occasionally wont to do, or what?

@Ginger:He knows where she is because pretty much the entire slavetrading world is sending an army to defeat her, it's what everyone is talking about. His aesthetic? He's a style pirate, complete with eye patch. He's the only person to have dared to sail to Valyria (supposedly). He seems to have an interest in magic.

On the pony subject, it really does bug me how the animators have slowly but consistently shifted to a "hooves are hands" stance. I thought the show was a lot more unique when they had to think of other ways to manipulate things.

Ginger, I see you use the word "aesthetic" a lot in reference to a character. What exactly do you mean by that? (I get the impression that you maybe don't mean what the character looks like physically?)
