I still say it's just Scootaloo being lazy/ not having great interest. Doesn't really matter if it is considered essential or not.

But from a Doylist perspective I guess it is a way to make her stand out from other Pegasai, though it hasn't exactly benefited her from a fandom perspective.

Applebloom and Sweetie Belle can't fly. Maybe Scoots doesn't want to be separated from her friends?

If she didn't care, she wouldn't be embarrassed by it. In any case, all that really matters is that she is unable to fly, and makes up for it with her scooter. Whether or not that plays into her motivations is yet to be seen.

I've never asked her about it, but my guess is that she wants to be able to fly, but wouldn't want to undergo the training necessary to perfect it.

Flight camp seems like a more likely opportunity, but it would likely be the same episode structure.

Maybe then we'll finally see her parents.(inb4 chickens don't have families joke)

B. Because we've been talking about Facebook a lot in the class.

When I turned in the test it seemed like most people had put down Google.

In any case, that's the last of the prerequisite classes for the accounting major.

Anywho, today I just gotta prepare for my music history final tomorrow, and do a little volunteering at the local high school (well, I don't have to, seeing that the class is over, but really, I just think I should). That means I might be able to read/write fanfiction. So maybe I'll give chapter six of Fallout Equestria a crack.
