A few of the more obscure and specific ones are good too. Red Velvet makes for a nice source of Dark Reprise.

Anyway Ginger, what I meant was that there's a couple of events that happen because of PLOT rather than because it would be a logical thing to happen.

Would Insipid count as Achievements in Ignorance? She seems to be able to use the powers she steals better than those she steals from, in some cases simply because she has no idea what they do.

Actually, she might even count as Nice Job Fixing It, Villain, since she helped Fluttershy realize Ophanim's potential to transform in multiple animals.

As you said yourself, the mane six getting to the portal first without knowing what it is, Silvertongue's eye, Tick Tock's ability to continually find and lose equipment, the explosions, the events of chapter 19, the necessity of taking the path they did in chapter 20. All very minor, but it's a bit jarring.

So hey, my favorite artist decided to draw a team of webcomic young girl superheros she labelled The Galvengers. I then suggested another member, and she went ahead and drew it! Now I should try and get her to draw some pony art I guess, her art style would be absolutely perfect for it.

Well she already did this but its not really her best work. And she apparently drew it drunk.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with Silvertongue's eye other than the fact that he got it in a random accident that could have hit any body part and done anything to him and it went with that. None of the things I mentioned are bad by themselves, but the number of them is a bit much. I love the fanfic, but nothing's perfect. Honestly, the eye is one of the more minor things there. The biggest one is chapter 19.

As for your spoilered trope on Silvertongue, I suspected that, but has that been confirmed?

EDIT: As for the Les Yay, I think that the author's teasing Rarity/Fluttershy as much as he's teasing Fluttershy/Lockwood and more than he's teasing Lockwood/Rarity (obviously the solution is a threesome).

Also, I do agree that there seems to be a bit of Contrived Coincidence around here, but hey, at least tge characters participate in a fair bit of Lampshade Hanging, right? I like to think of them as part if the plot.

Edit: Well unless there are two of Silvertongue running around, I assume it's the same guy. Though with all this cloning business, who knows?

the Whole thing with the Redblade Mountains was particularly bad. Pretty much that whole section existed purely to make the group distrust Tick Tock's judgement. Of course bad things had to happen the ONE time the mane characters walk through it, even though Tick Tock had travelled through contless times without incident.

Oh, and I REALLY don't like Pinkie's lampshade hanging. It just comes off as obnoxious. To quote Spoony:

"Just because you point out that your script is cliched and stupid doesn't change the fact that your script is cliched and stupid" (I don't think CRISIS is either of those things, I just agree with the main point of the quote)

and seriously, Pinkie is meant to be traumatized? bullshit. She's acting exactly the same

Also, obviously we've got a good Five-Man Band with the Mane 6. Two questions though: Who's who, and do the OC 3 (Tick Tock, Flathoof, and Lookwood) get included? I mean obviously Rarity and Fluttershy fill the role of The Chick.

@Ginger Maybe Pinkie is a Stepford Smiler or a Sad Clown? I haven't actually read the fic, mind you.
