Morning and first in mind after waking up - that was dream :/

I had pony dream, that type when you dream you watching something and that didn't happen.

I my dream that there was new promo show Twilight backstory. In this she didn't wanted to be pony mage, instead she wanted to be princess, only Cadance convinced her to change mind. Dream wasn't consistent Twilight switched between being filly and adult and between being unicorn and pegasus and sometimes alicorn. At one point she had outfit and under it there was other outfit with some phrase written - something with word "men and man". When other ponies sawed it they laughed at Twilight. There were Implication that it wasn't humans and Twilight is obsessed with them and that reason other ponies found it funny. So in the end: humans exist or existed in show and Twilight is like popular fanon of Lyra - both things I don't like.

So it being dream wasn't that bad.

Now there's a dream :D

My dreams usually consist of me trying to beat a tight deadline on some college project, or really having to pee, for some reason. (I usually have those right before waking up. Then I go to the bathroom.)

I either slip between dreamscpes a lot or am a Slider in my dreams, traveling between worlds a lot.

I'm the same way in some sense. My dreams never end in the same place. It's always a constantly shifting sequence of events that lead me down strange paths, yet always rooted in some real-world setting (Which sometimes recur. I have dream continuity!).

I rarely ever have out-and-out nightmares though.

It's hard to be terrified by monsters in your dreams after too much gaming, comics, and what have you since you know their weaknesses inside out and this is your dream and thus commences a dream-powered thrashing of said monster until they whimper for their parental figure.

The monsters in my dreams always kill me. (Unless you count the green headed dude who reversed everyone's gender with his tank.)

I never have cool dreams. It's always real world stuff. I do remember trying to escape from a pack of... unpleasant things while running down a skyscraper stairwell.

And I think I had that dream twice. It wasn't nightmarish, just mildly unpleasant.

Long ago, a Christian once told me I had a Guardian Angel. I can believe it after a number of narrow escapes from lethal accidents. Maybe the guy's lending me the strength to fight my monsters.

I once dreamed about being separated from my family while on a shopping trip, and sliding between two parallel worlds while trying to reunite us all again. I later visited the second world in a future dream while wandering aimlessly in my dreams.

I admit that I find it hilarious that some people claim that if you die in your dream, you die in real life. If that were true, I'd have died many times. Same with the "if you fall in a dream, yu'll never hit the ground" which has also often happened to me.

So, question: if, say, one were to start up a CRISIS: Equestria tropes page, does anyone have any recs for what tropes it uses? I mean there are a lot of obvious ones - Manipulative Bastard, Psycho Rangers, stuff like that - but this fic is pretty long and has used a lot of tropes. I actually can't honestly think of them all.

Anyone got any suggestions for tropes they've noticed? A barebones list would be a good start.
