Anyway, if anyone's interested I have created a Kindle version that removes the italics and most of the indentation (paragraphs are seperated by a blank line instead). Unfortunately, it does mean that the letter at teh beginning is no longer italicized, but I think that's a small price to pay for fixing the rest of the story.

I'm satisfied with tossing it into Word and manually reformatting everything before tossing it into my epub converter. It's just fun to do it the manual way :V

@Yeller: Also when I'm on the field I usually trope with my Tablet :D

Well I did more or less the same except that I left it as a series of html files and just did a search and replace across multiple files. I also partially automated the download process, which should help with fics that are split into lots of chapters.

I have no problem the italics or indentation myself. Does it get used more often later in the story?

Reffering to Red Velvet as Velvet is hilarious to me as it reminds me of Velvet Remedy who is about as opposite as you can get to Red Velvet.

Reminds me more of the tumblr OC pony who runs an adult boutique with class, Velvet , instead. She's actually pretty fun to read about and not trashy at all :3

Well I replace 'font-style:italic' with '' and ' ' with ' '. That seems to do the trick.
