I'd tell Discord that this is not a Federation ship.

@Ginger - I'm actually surprised you've played Contra.

Between that, loving Resident Evil and being probably the only other person on this forum whose seen Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night, no wonder these discussions are a lot more interesting when you're around.

But yeah, Contra ain't easy. And some of the sequels (particularly the Sega Genesis one) are even worse. I'm sure Discord could beat it though.

@yeller: doesn't seem that hard to me.

@Sereg: I've had my fair share of them and realise a Nightmare or Demon is more likely to trick me in the guise of a hot girl than a candy coloured pony.

A demon taking advantage of your fandom is oddly hilarious.[lol]

You know what Google Docs is right? Also, this is the only thing I know about Contra, thanks to IWBTG.

Contra is hard. I've only ever beat the first one on the gameboy.

doesn't seem that hard to me.

If it's so simple, tell me how to do everything.

I also know that I've had absolutely NO problems downloading files from it

I mean downloading it directly without manually clicking on everything.

@story and there in lies the problem. You're putting so much effort into figuring out how to make everything automatic, when doing it manually seems like it would be faster in this case.

You don't have to show off

Well I didn't expect it to be so unecessarily difficult.

@Sereg: frankly speaking, if you're talking Demons, princes like Asmodeus and Beezlebub are more likely to tempt you in the guise of a slick businessman with a fancy contract, and feral yaoguai have racial weaknesses that can be exploited. Even Doom-class demons can be beaten to death with your fists, and Cyber Demons are not subtle enough for disguises. Kitsune are usually just trolls, and all Malay demons are weak to religion. The good thing about fiction is that, it reminds you that the demons can be defeated.

That's not it though. Google provides an API, it's just that their API is missing important functionality.

Accessing it through the browser or with manual http is much more complicated though. The point of an api is to make things easier.

Ordinary browsing still seems easier to me, especially when there's a menu with "save as..." in it :P

Yes but when you have to do that for 21 seperate chapters, it's a pain.

I just find it inefficient to write several paragraphs of code when a couple elegant lines or played-back input records work just fine.

Admittedly it would be great if Google had key bind shortcuts to play with.
