Good to see I'm not the only one who took issue with that.
Oh, one thing I do love from it is the scene where Scoots and Sweeite bot are blinking at Applebloom in time to the background music. I found a video that looped it for 10 minutes or so... I watched the whole thing. It was glorious. I don't know why that scene is so cute, but it is.

I also prefer the Mentally Advanced Series. I like Fi W okay, but anywhere from a third to half of the jokes fall flat for me, at least in the earlier episodes. I actually prefer the ones that focus on the CMC. And I thought their attempt to force every nerd stereotype into Luna was obnoxious, and not in a funny way.
That song has a lot more verses than I thought.

Not by itself. And Vancian Magic as a name sounds too obvious. Maybe you could find a variation.

Add the term 'Ad' to the front. As a separate word, not as a prefix. So it's Ad Vancian. It sounds kinda badass, and has the bonus of being latin - Ad means 'to', so his name becomes the act of Vancian magic. It's horrendous grammar, yes, but still. It sounds cool.
