FiW actually has pretty strong continuity, so I wonder where exactly they plan on going with it, considering that there are three concurrent story arcs in that show running simultaneously.
I also find it a amusing that with the most recent episode, it is no longer an Abridged Series, with the episode only being a few minutes shorter than a real one.

Rainbow Dash presents is awesome.

I enjoy the Mentally Advanced Series more, I just like the characterizations and they make me laugh more. Fi W for some reason just kinda does it for me, it's more fascinating to observe and watch progress than to watch for hilarity value. It's like I see the jokes but they don't effect me, they just exist and I acknowledge that "yeah, that's pretty funny/clever and someone else would be rolling on the floor over it."
I mean I spent more time analyzing the type of character Twilight was interpreted into and the implications of AJ's southernness than any jokes or funniness.

It looks like they do have documentation for the old, deprecated version of the API. They just don't have anything for the current version.

To be honest, I don't really seem to care for the Friendship is Witchcraft thing. I've seen one of the episodes, and it was just... eh. Not bad, just kinda boring.
#190839Perpetual LurkerThu, 10th May '12 9:06:10 PM
Yeah, it's more interesting than funny, IMO.

Good evening Kegi, things in this thread are.. Occurring methinks, specifics unclear.
And boring is an apt descriptor, I lean closer to bland, particularly the characterizations. But I do give them an A+ for commitment, effort, and their music is pretty alright.
Also very apt, in fact exactly how I feel about it.

I haven't seen it. Also new people have come on, so I must point them to my most recent ramblings on my tumblr. Also that comic I linked to on the "Look Before You Sleep" entry.

The only Friendship is Witchcraft I bother to watch is the "Soul Sister" episode, and that's just to hear Sweetie Bot.
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know?

So, what's going on in this thread?
I'm trying to figure out how to get CEQ into a format convienent for reading on the Kindle.

The one I watched was the halloween episode, and... didn't care for Luna. Kinda spoiled the thing for me.

and that's just to hear Sweetie Bot.
Ha! Another excuse to post this. I wonder just how many times I've posted this thing so far.

Yeah, Luna was quite overdone.
In completely off-topic news, my inner remix junkie is currently quite satisfied:

Understandable, they tried way too hard to make Luna an undesirable, I could barely stand it. And most of the Spike abuse is less funny and more depressing.
Ah Sweetie Bot, one of the few fantastic things to come from that series.

I didn't like their Luna either. And her voice was annoying.

I've spent a good portion of the last hour listening to various versions of "What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor". I'm thinking of putting that in as a gag in the prologue to my King Arthur fic. On their way to Ebellon, they had to sail there, so when Celestia asks Luna how she's liked the trip, Luna will reply like this:
"I've enjoyed it sister, but if I have to hear one more chorus of 'What do You do With a drunken sailor', we shall have to fly the rest of the way there."
