@JT: Good. Velvet's presence improves the story. I like littlepip, but I prefer all the members of her team. Thoughts at this point?

yeah Velvet helps to balance out pip, keep her level and aware of the consequences of not think through everything, Calamity and Lilpip just fed off each other in crazyness without her, and your not done, still have 2.5 mane party members to go, one of whom is the most badflank pony EVER!, plus a few allies that don't join but are araound a lot.

Velvet is my least favorite character. (But I still like her).
From mane team Lilpip is my second favorite (after Steel Hooves)
Velvet is cool character that's to fact that she with her non combat skills is still useful.

It's pretty good. It's a bit weird to see Ditzy/Derpy in this capacity, but there's no canon there to overturn so I can't really complain about it. It's also nice to see that LP is getting a bit more of an ideological conflict after killing so much.
