By the way Ginger, how far did you get in OOTS?

@ Ginger: Yes, they are. Everyone else do get powers of a similar scale, but Pinkie's are unfortunately the most in your face.

I think pinkie pie was well rounded out in that fic. On one hoof we have nearly prescient powers of detection. On the other hoof. Party time mintalls.

@steve I just didn't like her. Nothing anyone says will convince me otherwise. She was too competent.

It sure was convienent that noone except Pip ever watched those memories. Though technically, The Goddess saw them too.

@ Ginger: Presumably across the fandom Pinkie fourth wall jokes/powers etc are generally well received. Plus are probably the easiest way to lighten the mood.

because no other pony ever shows signs of that type of ability, yes most writers tend to exaggerate it past cannon, but it's clear from cannon that Pinkie simply has some sort of ability that other ponies just don't understand. though plenty of writers end up creating some reason for it that fits with there verse. making another pony suddenly do stuff that like that, OOC, giving it to Pinkie, Character Exaggeration at worst.

Yes we know you don't like it, but honestly, and I really hate saying this, but it gets old not being able to talk about anything related to Pinkie without you getting upset over the same thing, and SCREAMING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!! Your more then welcome to have your opinions, but please, stop expecting everyone else to share them, and getting upset when they don't. We know how you feel about Pinkie, but please let us talk about it wihtout the screaming every now and then.

and before you get to mad, I am not turning against you, I am not attacking you, I do not hate you, and any toher exaggeration you can turn this into. i'm just getting annoyed with this ONE aspect..not your opinion, just the way every single time Pinkie is mentioned it results in the same screaming about the same issue.

@Seraph I just want to be able to read an MLP fanfiction without being annoyed by Pinkie.

i understand that. but your criteria for what counts as not annoying are simply to far from even cannon Pinkie most of the time, thought there are plenty of fics without Pinkie at all, or in just a minor almost cameo roll.
