I don't know if you'd like it or not, I find the villains to be very good but you have higher standards than me. And Pinkie does break the fourth wall to much for my liking.

I find Pinkie is the hardest character for Fan fic authors to write properly (or at least, the hardest to write in a way that doesn't violently piss me off.)

@Seraph but that's it. That's exactly the problem. Lampshhading does not INSTANTLY make me like something.

I hate how the fandom makes Pinkie an all knowing savant, and how anything weird done by her is just brushed away by the characters going (shrug) "that's Pinkie!"

Yeah, CRISIS: Equestria Pinkie isn't best Pinkie. But the villains are good. The other O Cs are pretty fun and at least the rest of the mane 6 can now HAX at Pinkie like levels. Also, Red Velvet's first real fight with Pinkie went very much in her favour after a slow start, so that's good for Ginger. Appropriate that Red Velvet and Pinkie have the powers that are the most insane even if Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Shadow have the most overall power. Ooh, and Ginger will probably like the fact that Applejack uses her power pretty effectively. She did really well against Greyscale Force.

EDIT: Then you'll probably like the fact that Pinkie's powers are explained both in CRISIS: Equestria and my own fanfic. Of course, in CRISIS: Equestria, they're still obviously weird to other characters, but they're at least documented as previously occuring in other ponies and have an entire branch of magic dedicated to them.

In fact, I don't think I've read a SINGLE non-clop fic where Pinkie hasn't pissed me off. Not one.

That WASN'T a hanging, that was exactly what you just said you wanted, somepony NOT just brushing off Pinkie as just being Pinkie. Despite your feelings that is how most of the fandom percieves her, though your "all-knowing Godess" part is more then a bit overstating it. 90% of the time all it is used for is Rule of Funny jokes, not anything plot important. You don't have to like it, but you do have to accept that is simply what your going to see damn near everywhere and learn to not let it get to you just because it doesn't conform to exactly how you want it to be. Long as i's just used for a joke here and there, just learn to ignore it. when it's central to the plot that she can break the fourth wall, ok then you may have a cause to be upset, but simply avoid works where that happens.

Alos you need to stop making sweeping generalizations, i've sen plenty of writers that treat her just as an excentric pony with no speical abilities, and plenty of fans that are perfectly fine with that version of Pinkie AS WELL as the fourth wall sahttering version.

Huh. I'm guessing they're specifically trying to invoke one of the cross-published Crises that predominated comics of the 80's and 90's. I'm specifically reminded of the Valiant/Image crossover event, but hopefully, CRISIS:Equestria is better written.

@Seraph I can't just IGNORE her. The term one off joke means NOTHING to me. Not when she's the only character who invokes it. Like she deserves special treatment or something.

I don't like her. I can't help it. I can't control it. I see her in a fanfic (all the fanfics I've read anyway) and I get pissed off
