I love the shot of JJ holding about six phones and trying to have six conversations at once. If someone's robbed a bank why is it that the first person to hear about it is the publisher of a newspaper? Does no one bother calling the police?

Random nothing-to-do-with-ponies comment: I watched the first two parts of Confused Matthew's review of No Country for Old Men, and I am convinced that he knows nothing about film criticism.

Later seasons of Spider-man are basically - Um. I don't think i can use words to dscribe them. It's like someone mnaged to broadcast their acid trip on national television. Look at Revolt in the Fifth Dimension. It- it's just. Words are not able to describe what this is.

He complains about the film having "no characters" and "no plot." One spot where he bitches is the scene where Anton Chigurh breaks into Moss's home and starts looking around. CM keeps going "Anton looks around Moss's home. He isn't there... Anton looks around Moss's home. He isn't there... Anton looks around Moss's home. He isn't there..."

Ad nauseum. He's complaining about the scene going on and on and on (gee, a suspense film using slow, quiet scenes to increase tension, NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT) and goes "No, don't tell me to shut up. Tell the film to shut up." Then does the exact same shtick for "Anton cleans his wound..."

Also complained about 2001: A Space Odyssey having "no plot." God only knows what'd happen if he saw Wild Strawberries, The Station Agent, 8 1/2...
