About Discord prison.

Maybe after Nightmare Moon "war" there was so much chaos that Discord statue was lost? And there is more statues in Eqestria of this whatever spiecies Discord have.

Or maybe Celestria planed this to so Mane Cast can use Elements of Harmony on him and turning him good (asuming he was corupted to). Celestria can have many other enemies in prison just waiting to be free and "taste rainbow".

She needen soponies like Mane Cast to use Element and she could only imprison or destroy her enemies in the past.

Or even better idea. Celestria need allies to help her in fight with coming evil. So she tries uncorupt all her friend and allies from past.

They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
