Mostly agree with Seraph, but I think that Celestia was more likely to have had Loyalty than Luna. So I'd swap it with Kindness.

Celestia gets Honesty because it was the last one and she was missing one.

Remember that the opening narration says that 'one day', Luna refused to lower the moon. I would definitely say that it was a slow burn of anger, jealousy and resentment until one night she just couldn't take it anymore.

I guess it's hard to tell really. Although Luna might not have changed in the last thousand years, Celestia likely has.

If that's how it worked, it woulkd mean that Celestia had to betray them all for the Mane 6 to use them, so I don't think so.

Celestia is definitely the Laughter type. She has a big sense of humour and likes pranking.

Actually I think Celestia using the Elements depowered them. They are not designed to be used by a single pony. When this happened they turned to stone (As seen in S 1 E 2) and became inert which effectively cut her off from their power. This would also explain why Luna had a Thousand year stay in the moon instead of immediately being cleansed of her evilness.
