Okay, we have (in order of appearance in the Disney Version):

Mrs. Darling, Mr.Darling, John, Michael, Micheal's bear, Wendy, Nana, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, some Fish, Smee, Several Pirates, Captain Hook, Cannibals(mentioned in passing), Tick-Tock, 7 Lost Boys (2 of which are twins), 3 Apes (father, Mother, and Child), a Rhino, a real Bear, Several Indians, The Chief, Mermaids, and Tiger Lily.

I think those are all the characters who we would need to ponify. Ponification, GO!

Ok so I took some time to put together how the endings in FOE for the Mane 6 impacted me, goes from worst to best.
Curse you spoiler tags!
6. Twilight Sparkle - fused into an amalgamation of Trixie, Mosaic, Gestalt and herself. Became an Eldrich Abomination \ 5. Rainbow Dash - hunted down and killed by her own (former) best friend.
4. Pinkie Pie - died in the intial attack, clutching a Twilight sparkle figurine. She had just decided to turn her life around, only to have it come to an abrubt end.
3. Rarity - died protecting Fluttershy from the pink cloud.
2. Fluttershy - turned into a tree in the Everfree forest by killing joke. Was rescued and returned to her normal form. I cant imagine being a tree for 200 years would be that horrible, and at least she's alive.
1. Applejack - survived in a stable and went on to have a foal, her descendants still live.

Okay, thank god the FO:E discussion was over. It got to the point that I just stopped reading posts because I was tired of reading all of the terrible things that happened to the ponies. There's heart-wrenching, then there's needless cruelty. I can get emotional stimulus without having characters I'm attached to tortured in creative ways, thank you very much.

Yeah, Twilight would be Wendy, Rarity would be John, not sure about Michael or the parents or Nana.
