Also Designing Nightmare Moon is harder than I thought. I do one search for armor for women and all I get is fetish gear and chainmail bikinis.

I never believed in fanservicey costume design. A superhero or villain needs to wear something practical that's also costume-y. Nightmare Moon is clearly the type to wear light battle armor.

In the show she is clearly shown wearing a (rather tight fitting) helm. I assume that your humanization will include it.

I didn't think it was THAT bad. It saved loads people. and at least now the battle will be completely decisive. Since it doesn't ressurect the dead to my knowledge, only heals the injured

Anyway, when I got here I saw a post by Ginger regarding Haruhi. Sorry to bring back something 100 pages past, but I wasn't here to comment at the time so I'm doing it now.

Haruhi doesn't know she's god. She has basically no knowledge of, nor control over, her powers. Things just happen around her. Nine-tenths of the conflicts are just them trying to make Haruhi happy for fear that if she doesn't get her way, she'll destroy the world without realizing it.

I am also interested in practicality and modesty in female armour design. Fanservice has its limits.

@Moe -_- I know I've SEEN and read some of the Haruhi books. I'm wasn't on about those. I was on about the fanfic Kyon: Big Damn Hero, where Kyon tells Haruhi about her powers and she becomes aware of them.

@ JT: Actually, midi's not a problem. You can import that into Muse Score (free!), use one of their better soundfonts, and get something that doesn't sound bad at all as long as you stay away from certain instruments.
