I think it was the same one that teleported.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
@Sereg They can all cause heart attacks.
Purple ones teleport, Blue ones can turn invisible and green ones can create massive shields.
I can handle all the gore you can throw at me... it's MISERY that I can't stand.

Huh, I'll ask that then, how often are the characters in PH
miserable
I can handle Misery as long as it's balanced by levity

Memory orb as anasthesia - interesting idea.

Mostly when horrific things happen. Blackjack blames herself for a lot of the deaths she was unable to prevent, for one. P-21 deals with constant trauma from many things.
For me the increased darkness is one of the things I don't like about PH. I read it because I enjoy other aspects.
@Ace and how often do horrific things happen? -_-

I can handle misery, I can handle gore. I can't stand misery AS A RESULT OF gore.
Unless it gives me a breather every now and then

@ginger: Pretty much all the time.
So you're perfecty happy reading a story with absolutely NO levity or pleasantness?
Sorry, the concept of that BAFFLES me

@Purple and that's why I'm worried about PH. Watcher basically just told blackjack that she has absolutely no chance of EVER redeeming herself in chapter 3!!

There's plenty of levity. Blackjack can be hilarious at times. Its dark humor, but still. Like I said, I do find the grimdark aspect unpleasant at times, but I still enjoy the story as a whole.
What I mean by Levity is the characters being NICE to each other. Is there any of THAT?

I have no universal standard for what I can handle. Everything is context based for me.
Oh. Well yeah, the core cast all like each other. P21 is still pissed at Blackjack, but you can tell he does like her but doesn't want to admit it to himself.
@Mio Context is certainly important for me. I just know that I can handle horrifically gruesome things as long as there's some hope to it

Wait, in PH. Does Silver Spoon pose any danger beyond her radiation?

Wait, why can't Pip just get DJ-Pon3 to send the message to Gawdnya instead?
