You know what the worst part of that dub was? I can still remember the entirety of that damn theme song they made up for it. It is the worst kind of Ear Worm, the kind that is genuinely bad, but you still can't forget it.

They have it in the production notes that Charlotte wanted to wish away her and her mother's cancer, but thought that Kyubey couldn't grant such a remarkable wish. so instead she wished to have her favorite dessert with her mother before she died. After her mother's death, Kyubey asked Charlotte why she didn't wish for a cure. The grief from realizing she constrained her imagination when it came to her chance to wish for anything is what turned her into the witch of sweets.

The problem was when Viz Media first localized one piece mangas the said Zolo. (They also called Tea Anzu. but that's a yugioh problem). They quietly fixed that error later on.
