My roommate has been watching
The Walking Dead lately... and I gotta say, I don't get why this show is popular. I've only seen a couple scenes, granted, but each one has made me want to actually watch it less and less. So far I've basically seen everyone screaming at each other and one guy beating the shit out of another(And saying he would beat him to death) for the unspeakable crime of... hitting someone once. And not all that hard. Yeah, it was his wife. I still really don't care.
I don't know if I'm just in one of those moods that gets angry easily today, but seriously. That's all it was. Hitting his wife, once. I'm not saying that it isn't wrong, but having my roommate turn around and openly say that he would have stopped - that "you don't hit women", like that excuses
beating someone to death, just pisses me off. Why the hell do people think that being slightly wronged once gives them an excuse to go completely overboard? No, you don't hit women. You don't hit
anyone! And you certainly don't beat the ever loving shit out of someone for a single fucking transgression, no matter how much it offends your archaic fucking sense of morals! I have never once encountered a piece of media that has pissed me off so instantly.
...sorry, I think I just needed to get a rant out. Sorry for the thread hop, what are we talking about now?
