The soundtrack for Requiem for a Dream is great. It's the movie itself that's chock-full of despair. I could only bring myself to view the movie once, and I usually enjoy dark morality tales.

@ Storyyeller: It's the Grimdark of soundtracks for a very Grimdark movie that I've never and will never see. The specific song in question is entitled "Meltdown" and it very nearly triggered one in me after listening to it a whole lot in a row during a particularly bad time in my life.

Whenever I find myself invested in a world, but unable to read/watch more of it, I turn to making up incredibly self-indulging stories in my head. There's no shame in self-insert fanfiction if it never leaves your imagination to bother anyone else.

Actually, the fact that this show inspired those stories in my head to function without having to insert characters is what caused me to write fanfiction in the first place. Everything just clicked.

I'm sure ginger wouldn't actaully get that far, but I know how effected by this stuff you can get, we don't want you to tear yourself up inside over something you feel compelled to read but hate. Worse comes to worse i'll read it and give you a detailed but less Gorn filled synopsis.

@ kyler, true, but sometimes talking to friends can head off that BEFORE it gets to that point, not saying they shouldn't also get some more help, but take EVERY option you have.

@Seraphem: from a couple pages back: It's a fairly common gift for fillies and colts who have just gotten their cutie marks. Other than that they aren't as common, but they still pop up from time to time.

@ Ginger: Glory appears to have died; Blackjack gets disembowled; and they pull the plug on forty-odd children that were put into stasis during the war, but tragically remained concious and insane the entire time. This is not the worst stuff that happens in Project Horizons.
