Reading the recap page would have worked, but whatever. Appa runs from the circus, and the Kyoshi Warriors find/protect him. Azula and friends pop out and they fight. Appa runs away and goes to an Air Temple where he finds a guru.

Also, you don't know how much I agree with you about not caring about Appa.

@ Ginger, Fight between Ozai's angles and Kiyoshi warriors, introduction of Guru Pathick, who becomes quite importatn later, and more subtle hints at that part of the finale that people complain was an asspull but was really just hinted at to subtly for most.

That's annoying. If energy/spirit bending existed before the four elements were bendable, then why is it able to take away those abilities? Heck, that's the only thing we know it can do.

Yes he was foreshadowed, but so subtly that most missed it. NO GINGER READ SPOILER Energy bending is about bending the energy of a human body, either your own or anothers, it isn't Bending bending becuase that is not all it does, yes it allows that, but it allows so much more. And the Lion Turtle made clear that bending anothers energy was a difficult thing, most energy benders only altered there own
