Cloudsdale needs no bombs, weaponized weather can wreck most things. Just toss a land-resurfacing megastorm at the enemy or something, I bet a cloud city has a massive electropotential for lightning.

Weaponized weather has massive potential. Megastorm winds that rip the foe up and toss them massive distances or shred them with flying debris, massive lightning bolts that vaporize them on impact, huge waterspouts with the pressure to punch holes in solid steel plate, lavaspouts (done with preparation), hailstones/storms, ultracold winds that make Russian Winter feel like the balmy tropics...

Now I'm thinking about how my aunt lives in the town with the lowest rate of violent crime in my country. They only have one murder a year!

@Orion: Well, of course it isn't, you're terraformers, not focused on war. I'm just saying the weapon potential of weather control is actually quite overpowered. Say, you ever had anyone stroke you with human hands?

Murder is tragically common were I come from.

@Jteeth: Don't scare him though, we're not really that violent unless we're forced to fight. I mean, I can personally think up very creative and difficult-to-stop weapons, but I have no intention of using them except as a last resort.

@Orion: Humans are just kinda creatively violent. Still most of us prefer not to fight unless we have to.

@Applelight: I doubt that it's more common than in my country.

I really have a hard time imagingn ponies doing anything violent like murder, or even storing weapons. I'm sure that may be the very VERY rare case of second-degree murder, or ponyslaughter, where a pony just losses control in the heat of the moment, or does something without thinking how bad it could end, that they instantly regret, but pre-meditated, no. Baring the very occasional pony with some sort of psychological issue, but I'm sure ponies don't feel anger at them, only sadness, and do there best to take care of them while preventing them from hurting others.

@JT: Thank goodness you don't know about the multidimensional portal, otherwise, I would not want to see what you would do to our weather.

well Orion, given we can't controll it the way you do, most we could do is tell the rest of the Pegasi how they could use it, but only if you ponies needed help defending yourselves from some invaders.
