@Crowfall: Being un-Hollowed allows you to summon other players to aid you, which is a HUGE help for tough bosses. However, you can also be invaded. While you're Hollowed, nothing special happens. Also, the more Humanity you have increases the chance that enemies will drop better stuff.
EDIT:I totally didn't call you Crowlover there.

@Crowfall: how far into the game are you? Early on, you should avoid using it unless you need to summon allies for a boss, because the invaders you'll face early on are typically way out of your league even if you had experience fighting them. I suggest you save up the Humanity until you get to Sen's Fortress or Anor Londo, then make an effort to start learning how to do PVP.

Well to be fair it mutated from my prescient vision spotting a dark ntr-fic where Chrys tries to lord her victory over Cadence in a rather decisive (ahaha) way, then someone mentioned that Shiny overpowers Chrysalis after seeing two Cadences and then afterwards Chrysalis gets taken for a wild ride or something And then Red celebrated it as his new OT 3
