@Drenius What is your avatar supposed to be?
@Perpetual: I'm the same way. I don't have nearly as much free time as I'd like, and I much prefer writing to reading. Mainly because when it comes to fanfic I'm way more picky about it than I am with any other form of media.
Excellent story, Cheerilee. It seems oddly familiar though.
FEAR MY MIGHTY MJOLNIR
damn sorry. also
looks like, we don't have Diffintive confirmation that it's the same person but they are confirmed to be a player directly tie to the series Bigger Bad
also,
since this is in NO WAY a spoiler for ANYONE at this point likt the Zombie T-Rex?

@ Crowlover: It's a piece of fan art of one of the ponies responsible for a number of murders from 'These City Walls', a mystery fanfic.

I heartily recommend it. It lags in places, but I enjoyed it.

Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
Ooh, I remember that title.
super late but good night apple!
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

@Norse Drenius kept comparing it to a story called Donkeyskin, if you mean familiar in a human way.
@Seraphem:The zombie Rex surprised me in it's awesomeness. I knew it was coming, because, come on, that's the first thing anyone hears about the series, so I never really thought about how it was going to go down. It was way cooler than I'd have imagined. That reminds me that I really need to post about it in the Dresden thread, I just haven't felt like it for some reason...
Element of Dullness.
Wait, which Time Lord story did you say I'd like?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I forget, how competent WERE the antagonists of Animorphs?
It's a bit late now, but to answer your question, the main antagonist, Visser 3 is a complete idiot. In fact, he is almost singlehandedly responsible for the Animorphs remaining uncaptured for so long. There were other antagonists, like Visser 1, who are much more competet though.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
@ Ginger
Dresden Files, the
Big Bad's of the first three books are kinda lame overall, but you find out that
they were all just pawns of the Bigger Bad after that you get some great villains, and pretty much EVERYONE agrees the series
Grew the Beard either with or after book three, I see why, I liked it at first and thought "This is the BAD book and it's this good?" but after re-reading them yeah they pale in comparission to the later books.

Not much, We're still talking a bit about fanfics and some literature in general.

@Seraphem:I thought the FBI werewolf and Lady Aurora were pretty cool, actually. Summer Knight was the point where the author learned how to write female characters though.

Howdy Fallen! Good to have you back again.
more @ Ginger
Time Lords and Terror it's pretty good, esspecially if you like
Doctor Who, it feels more like a Doctor Who episode that takes place in Equestria then a FIM episode with The Doctor in it.
it's good, but the sequel si SO much better. Though fair warning there IS one spot you'll hate, Twi going on a massive magical beatdown, but it's cuase she's gone full
Mama Bear after Spike is put in danger. and
no she does not defeat the Big Bad

I should read Dresden at some point. It theoretically has everything that I'd enjoy. Detectives, wizards, Detective-Wizards, and hard-boiled, two-fisted sensibility.
