Anyone else notice that Cadance's wings have a unique shape?

Yeah, Yeerks who were morally opposed to being parasites were given morphing technology, in their Yeerk forms, and were allowed to permanently morph some animal form. In that way, they got bodies, which is what they got from their parasitic bond, without having to imprison another creature to do so.

Of course, unless there's some way to find an endless font of love for dissident Changelings, it's not the best rebuttal, just an interesting example of what creatures in that situation may choose.

I was mostly surprise at the climax of episode 25 from Twilight's loved one abandning her all to the scene where the Queen show her true form up to Celestia getting physical and then the Mane Cast fighting off the army.

That was all so epic.

@ginger: I do recall reading about a host who sort of traded positions with his Yeerk - he would be in control sometimes, and the yeerk would be in control sometimes.

Well, they moved into the human world and took over people in position of power very, very quickly. the only people who knew about them were told so by other aliens for the most part, and they couldn't really spread the word, or be killed pretty instantly. They were outmanouvered more often than not, despite managing to sabotage a few key plans...

So I'd say pretty competent.
