@Chadaman But if you destroyed all languages, our way of communicating, and, as a result, this forum, would no longer function. And then we'd have to make new languages to communicate and it would get really confusing.

Well all my friends and I are deadpan snarkers. But we're snarky in a loving way.

What makes stuff like Generation 3 My Little Pony fun to watch is that the characters' absurd sincerity often comes off as snarkiness. I think this was Pinkie Pie's main appeal before she was reinvented as the hyperactive one.

That's probably because simple sarcasm is People Sit on Chairs.

People Sit on Chairs, huh? That's how I feel about most of the "[Color] Eyes" tropes. So an author picked an eye color for a character! It doesn't have to mean anything!

Why do some people spell it "Candance"?!

Because if she couldn't dance, then she would be called Cantdance!

Uh... scream? Largely in part because there would be something weighing a couple hundred pounds in my lap.
