Re: The Predator, it's just the Entity for the Violet Lanterns, not what they themselves are, the Entity for all the corps tend to represent there lantern's to the worst extreme. Red lantern's run on rage, but The Butcher is just a complete mad, rampaging, murderous beast. That's why they tend to bond to one of there Lanterns, it balances them out.
But again the whole No Males thing is

@ Chadman: I kept cracking the ribs while trying to bend them. I eventually got the hang of it, but not until I'd destroyed about six of them first.
