Well gee, I guess I just returned at a
really bad time, didn't I? Should I just go and come back later?
I thought Twi's reaction in the cold open was a good way of building a bit of intrigue, because you're right, she DIDN'T react how one would expect her to react, and we want to know why.
A fair point, I guess. But it did feel a bit wrong to me, all the same.

Hey, I responded to you. I just wanna got off this topic of negativity
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
@Mio I think he means that the story didn't feel the need to explain EVERYTHING, but the scenario also didn't negate the possibility that a reasonable explanation exists.

Pinkie's insight only kick in at the speed of the plot!
Spooky.
I... honestly don't think the princesses knew much about the Changelings, if anything. Twi's dispel spell worked, but I don't think she knew that until she tried to use it.

I really wish I could stop myself from trying to imagine the unholy abomination that Discord x Queen Chrysalis might produce.

and again with the god-like Pinkie stuff -_-

@ Mio, the simple fact that it doesn't serve up all the answers, it doesn't contrive itself to make sure the audience knows stuff just so the audience knows it instead of becuase the Mane 6 need to know it. We see what the Mane 6 sees, and the world is vibrant and living enough that we know more is going on that we never see, but it never fels the need to indulge that. Yes it's not that big a deal for most shows, but for the genre it's in that's big. Most other shows of it's type, if it isn't on screen, it doesn't happen, they don't trust there audience to fill in the gaps from there imagination instead they spoon feed it to them.
Basicly that fact that they DON'T assume
Viewers Are Morons and have to be spoon fed every little detail/
also, what Ginger said

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@Ginger: the point I was trying to make is that she is impossible for the Fae to impersonate.
...
Shining Armor earned the Power of Love!
Sorry, had to get that out of my system.
Seriously, though, what exactly happened when Shining Armor and (actual) Cadence touched horns? Did their spells merge or something?
Mr. Blue, you did it right
It's a shame that Queen Chris's tumblr doesn't allow anonymous questions.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Love works in mysterious ways.
Spooky.
@Bad but she did during the fight with the Changeling drones. She tackled one to the floor and dispelled it's disguise, remember?

I think their spells merged into super-duper-something-With-Love-in-the-title spell.
@Kyler: these horns of ours glow with an awesome power! Their blazing light tells us to protect those we love! Sekiha! Love-Love Tenkyoken!
@Kyler: Friendship is magic and love is the ultimate friendship so...
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
