I still stand that what SA and Cadance did only worked because the changelings were relatively weak.

I doubt that shield would've worked on Discord

I'm not a changeling. I'm an earth pony. Of course, being able to use changeling magic would be really cool.

I wonder if Captain Shining Armour Sparkle is going to change his name to Prince Shining Armour after the honeymoon. After all, members of the royal famly are considered to not need last names, which is why Princess Celestia, Princess Luna (and of course, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza) don't have them.

yeah I doubt nothing short of the EOH can do ANYTHING to him. Even if the actaul shield could hit him and push him back, he could just teleport to the other side of it, or turn it into a soap bubble and pop it, turn the shield into a snow globe with Cadance and SA inside...anything.

I think the effects of The Power of Love have less to do with the POWAH LEVELS of the villains, and more to do with how Eeeeeevil they are. Evil, being selfish and destructive, would naturally be repelled by Love/Friendship. Basically, Love is kryptonite, and anyone with Evil in them is Superman.

@Pan I wouldn't call the changelings necessarily evil, at least not totally. Ultimately, they were just looking for a source of food

I just realized something. We know that Ace can't be a changeling because they only take over victims who are loved, and noone could possibly love a zombie.
