[up][up]Eh, Kyubey needs despair, we Changelings need love...

They may not be, but they seem mutually exclusive...

Also, Rest puts you to sleep.

Then have the Changelings go first, and the Kyubeys can feed on the despair of a now loveless, subjugated land.

[up] Which is why you carry a Chesto Berry if you really want to be ready 24/7.

So, I heard some people who said that Celestia's mane stopped flowing when she got zapped. I suppose that is the final evidence for the reason behind Luna's present look: she was weakened after episode 1, but is back to full power.

I know that was Lauren's intention anyway, but now we see that Studio B stuck with that.

You aren't exactly helping your case here, crowlover.

content edit: It seems kind of odd to assume that only the princesses would be on watch. Surely they'd have some of the guard/soldiers out looking, too.

How did they ever lock the trope page of Lolita?

It's pretty obvious that they're not omnipotent, otherwise they could have fought Discord on equal footing. I'd say that they rank more toward the Physical God side of divinity, and definitely should need sleep. Cadence is quite an interesting case here, as she's obviously quite young, but since she is likely the embodiment of an abstract concept (Love) rather than a physical one (the Sun and Moon), she probably has potential to be even more powerful than Celestia and Luna after a thousand years or so.

I wouldn't say Discord is omnipotent. He is powerful, but he can be defeated.

[up] wild mass guess Although I like the idea that Cadence might be the Goddess of Love.

Eh, Madoka already fixed it so Kyubeys can't use despair as energy.

Also, Cadence needs to fake a latina accent for the lols.

Mi Amore Cadenza sounds more Italian to me.

Obviously. If he were omnipotent, the Eo H couldn't touch him.

Yeah. "Omnipotent" means "all powerful." No exceptions.

@Ace Actually, they still do, mostly through those black boxes demons drop. She just got rid of one of the largest contributors.

Okay, I guess nigh-omnipotent wold be a better term. Still his power showed literally no limits, and the entire reason he didn't win right away was because of his own twisted sense of humor and a desire to play games with his victims.

Also, maybe he could have stopped them but just severely underestimated the power of something as frivolous as friendship.

Also, I got the idea to make this while watching the episode and couldn't resist.

Wait, EMA did it? Too bad it being an accident is no excuse in Phoenix land.

Well, what's always kind of bothered me is how names relate to cutie marks so well. Is their talent decided by their name, or vice versa? And if so, how do parents know what to name their children?

They consult fortunetellers when deciding on names.

Is that what Pinkie Pie does? Why haven't the CCC focused on their names yet?

Copious amounts of serendipity.

[up] That was one of the first things Apple Bloom tried. That didn't turn out so hot.
