but how did she discover the caverns if nopony ever used them? I mean, I wasn't under the impression that she could become anything other than a pony (or else surely the changelings would have assumed more viable and dangerous battle forms than simple copies) using her shapeshifting, so while she could infiltrate and gain existing knowledge easily, how would she find things no one else has?
