@Ginger: It isn't that it's unbelievable, it's that it isn't really based on anything we saw in the episode. It's just easier to assume she slept through it because she was exhausted from guarding all night.
@Chadaman 99 Of course, why else would the put her in the end going "what did I miss" other than to troll us?
The internet is the realm of chaos, but not all chaos is evil.
I wonder if we'll ever know which scene that animator considered to be so disturbing.
I have a message from another time...
@ Applelight: Exposition please. What's that "wait a minute" about?
I'm listening to The Smile Song and I can't help but imagine a changeling Pinkie singing it.
Wow that does put a new spin on things.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
I wonder how they heard of the threat to Canterlot
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Except Twilight might have noticed even more going wrong with SA. Hell, at some point, SA is basically completely mind-controlled and it shows. Since Twilight was the closest to SA, the queen would have wanted her away as SA's personality faded away. And since everypony else doesn't know him as well as Twilight, they would not have noticed anything too strange except typical nerves and stuff.
After all, Twilight (thinks) that she was wrong about Cadence at a point, so once she realized her mistake, she would probably go to Shining Armor and apologize. Since she was being honest, he would have probably accepted her apology and let her back as the best mare.

The Element of Procrastination
Are you in the middle of watching the episode, Applelight?
The queen's transformation was pretty squicky, or her dominating SA, Celestia in the goo cocoon, could be anything.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Kind of funny we never heard from Twi's parents. Did they even show up?

They were at the wedding, crying
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I thought it was the cliffhanger to part 1 that was the disturbing scene or something. Creeped me out the most.
The part 1 cliffhanger was AWESOME!!
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Between the name Changelings, the fact that they have been planning a take over of Equestria, and the fridge horror that the duplicated background ponies might be them, part of me was expecting a
DS 9 style cliffhanger at the end:
Luna walks up the wedding party, concerned look on her face...
Celestia: What's the matter, sister?
Luna: The Changeling Queen, she screamed something at me as she was being blown away from the city.
Twilight: But we defeated her Princess, what could she have possibly said that has you so worried?
Luna: She said, "You're too late.
We're everywhere."

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...
Personally, I stuggle to see Luna simpley being asleep though it. Surly something should have woken her, and Canterlot was on high alert at the time so something/someone should have been in place to wake her a problem occurs.

It could be that they have some variation on Pinkie Sense. So they could tell something bad and unexpected was going to happen but they didn't know what.

Oooh~~ You're getting to a good part ^^

I like to think that Tia has an underground network of connections who warned her
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
@ Ginger: And now, I like to think that too.
