Rarity and Rainbow didn't really even do anything until the big pile-up, and Fluttershy got lucky.

Applejack was slugging them right alongside everyone else throughout the fight scene.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen the Power of Love used as a weapon by the villain. That was a nice twist.

Anyway, I don't think there was a problem with missing the moral of MMM Mystery. Because that one was about accusing without evidence.

Twilight did have evidence. It just wasn't good evidence.

But oh my god, I still can't believe this episode worked as well as it did. I honestly anticipated them using the Elements of Harmony and then was surprised when the Changelings were defeated by something else entirely.
