I'd like do see a series that focuses on what other ponies were doing in the background and off-camera in certain episodes. It'd be funny to have pony just walk by as the CMC are doing a musical number and continue until they're out of ear-shot. Maybe get an explanation why Ponyville became a death-trap in MMDW, focus on another sibling pair that competed in the sister hooves social, witness Luna's return from the point of view of someone who doesn't actually know what's going on. Stuff like that.

I think McDonald's has a history of randomly including other ponies. In the first wave they had Cherilee, back when she wasn't even named on the show.
