well, given how much original content we put out, I don't think we'd stop any time soon, but I do see it slowly dwindling in activity, but I doubt it will ever go away completely. There are shows that last far less time, and had far less fan involvement that still have dedicated fanbases to this day.
On topic pagetopper, Ginger, don't watch I already know it will depress you.

I think I'll stay even when the series ends.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.

@Seraphem And then there are people who will become fans years after it's done showing...

I'll stay as long as G5 is as good as the current Gen. I'll probably watch the first episode as soon as I hear a new show is coming out. As long as they make it like this one (maybe same universe, different cast and new plot?) I'll remain a brony.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.

Depends on how long the current series last. Some might quit while some would stay.

Hey Applelight, how goes?

Re: G5 I dont care if it's same universe, same idea, or if it has nothing to do with FIM as long as the people making it show the same dedication and love to it as the FIM team does, and put in as much effort to make it legitmatly good, not just "Good for a kids show" I'll at least give it a fair chance.
though given MLP gens last about a decade each..we got time.

Think FIM could get spin off shows?
Crappier shows have...
Thanks!
I'm going to work on GD tomorrow btw.

My biggest hope for FIM, the thing I'd really love to see more then anything is a massive, full release, major motion picture that not only holds up to nd exceeds the quality of the show, but becomes a MASSIVE box office hit.
well given they were thinkiing of doing just that even in season 1, why not?
OH What spin off would you most like to see?
I'd go with The Adventurous of Daring Doo

I don't know... I find myself slowly bleeding interest in the fanbase, though I'm still psyched for the season finale and I'll probably always keep checking in on this thread. =) I'm not sure if I'll be able to hold onto FiM as my major writing paradigm over the summer, though.
Can you think inside the chimney?

@ Seraphem
Oh yeah...I'd love for that movie to happen.
Spin off?
God, I don't know...anything would be good!
edited 17th Apr '12 4:36:25 PM by ApplelightLimited
@ Apple, depends on what it is, you could go with a more action oriented one with Daring, maybe one that's more just comedic, really it would depend on what it was about.
but over all, yeah I'd like to see a slightly more action oriented spin-off. Still keeping the overall themes of FIM, just more actiony,

I think I'd like something with more of a focus on adventure and possibly a slightly darker tone, while still retaining a fair bit of levity throughout.
