Oh man, if I was any good at making fan fiction. A plot of the group doing a play that's suppose to be drama ends up being more of a comedy due to their performance. Rarity would overact, Fluttershy putting herself as the tree at the moment of seeing the crowd might run off (Moving tree lol), etc.

Fluttershy would be Dryad (tree spirit). Upon setting hoof on stage, she would forget all of her lines and be unable to speak.

When Fluttershy was still a young filly, she was cast as a tree in a school play (which actually wasn't that bad, considering). Fluttershy remarking that she'd like to be a tree during the train ride is a reference to that.

Finally got around to watching this series.

I must say, in a cast that has two traditional Action Girls, a Badass Bookworm, a Cloud Cuckoolander, and an adorable Shrinking Violet, I never expected the Libby-like fashion designer who hates to get her hooves dirty to become my favorite character. I'm impressed.

Reading that page, it looks like that's the wrong trope. Rarity is never actually mean to anyone, so she's not a Libby but an example of Spoiled Sweet.
