Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
The thing is, lithivore isn't in the dictionary. At least, not since the last time I checked. That's why I want to coin it.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
@chad: Actually, people need the things in meat. Iron, Protein, etc. You can get all those from other sources.
I step away for 15 minutes and there's three new pages.

Fools! You've overestimated me!
Stop taking pictures of Scootaloo, Fred Phelps!
Getting them from meat is a lot tastier though.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Tofu is just a bland mass of food like substance that you add flavorings to.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@Kegi: Actually, what people need most is the delicious taste of bacon. Mmmm, bacon. A life without meat is a poor life indeed.

Are you aching for some baking? Then stop the shakon!
Ferrous iron from meat is far easier to absorb and utilize than the Ferric version found in grains and vegetables. Our bodies use the Ferrous form for hemoglobin production and if its already in that format we can use it more easily. (Yay for Hematology)
This Space For Rent!
@Kyler: She has pigs at the farm...ok I'm starting to creep myself out.

@Kegi but it wouldn't be as convenient or tasty. Imagine having to eat spinach and a lot of it to get the necessary iron. Lots and lots of nuts and beans for the protein.
