@Crowlover:I'm not surprised. There were hints early on, but the end of Episode 3 was the first time the show really proved that it was going the Dark and Edgy route. So while the whole Soul Gem thing was the biggest plot twist, Mami's death was the biggest Wham Moment for the viewers.

Ah, I see.

Well, looking at the house wasn't as pleasant as I hoped. the landlord had stretched the truth about the size of the living space and decided to left 8 people view the space for rent at the same time. At least I learned it wasn't worth my while.

@ Bluespade: I may have overstepped my journalistic bounds when I scolded her for vandalizing my paper. Apparently Ponyville culture does not like it when you tell an orphan her parents died because they hate her. I don't understand. We say things like that all the time back in Stalliongrad and nopony gets offended.

@Bluespade Yet I knew it was going to be Dark and Edgy and I knew something bad was going to happen to Mami, though I thought it would happen next episode. Though it does explain how everyone seemed to know on Episode 3 when I said Mami was growing on me.
