Also the Comet exists to put a time limit on Team Avatar in seasons one and two, in season three it is a much more central part of the plot.

I love Rainbow Dash Presents' version of it. It has tons of awesome derailing.

the comet is just a comet, it shows up in a very predictable patern over and over.

The convenient part is that Aang got unfrozen JUST before it shows up again.

Yeah that's pretty convenient. Really the Fire Nation is steadily winning anyway so the comet only serves as a definitive date of failure.

Yes, you actually should watch the Jet episode. It's one of those episodes that seem like filler but are actually not.

I hear Jet is mostly romance...

and the comet is more just something I'd rather not have, it's not soemthing that's really affecting my enjoyment
