Hey, that reminds me. I had an idea for a ponified version of Murder on the Orient Express. The train gets stopped by a freak blizzard due to Windigos, because the people on the train are secretly mad at the victim.

@Ace: I've seen an episode. The thing is, tornadoes and hurricanes aren't all that dangerous to us as you make them out to be. So I find is amusing when the people are like, "AH THE TORNADO IS COMING! EVERYONE RUN!"

Well we can't control it intentionally at least. We can predict it a couple days in advance though.

That's only because they have yet to steal Toady's Dwarf Fortress codes for simulating weather and run the weather prediction off a massive multi-blade supercomputer :V apart from the annoying Quantum Butterflies that mess up the calculations, the weather modelling can be even more accurate these days.

Hey Orion, does any pegasus you know set up mini showers to sleep to the sound of? Rain is so nice to sleep to :3 also g'night.

You know, I was wondering how much of this thread actually deals with ponies. Would taking a sample and calculating the approximate percentage of pony-talk be something worthwhile? Also, should I do a simple random sample or a stratified random sample. I'm leaning towards stratified right now ^^

I suppose. Although it makes me sad that I never get to use my statistics skills. I actually had to remind myself that there's a function in the calculator that will do the hard work for you. I miss that class.
