Anyway, it seems like a pretty solid list to me. All the episodes are either awesome, and/or have relevance to the later storyline.

Well the waterbending scroll is mentioned again in The Library, and the bison whistle is obviously used again, but that doesn't seem terribly important.

@ginger The fight between Azula and Zuko in the finale is amazing. But, for the most part, the firebenders are Season 1 villains. A lot more show up in Season 2 though.

There's also villianous Earthbenders in season 2, though they pale in comparison to Azula.

@ Sky: I was saying the episode was about more important things than Jeong Jeong, not that the episode was more important than one with Jeong Jeong in it.

If you put in the Water Bending Scroll you should have Imprisoned and the one with Bato as well.

@ Story: The Earthbending villains are great. There's also a Waterbending villain in one episode.

@bad Oh yeah, definitely, big plot points in The Deserter. Also, the one with the prison rig is pretty good. And Bato introduces Jade, who's key to the finale.

Yeah, I've only ever heard "adorable" used as a synonym for "cute". Pretty much none of the guys I know in real life would have any qualms about using it.
