Oh, well I hope it lives up to it's hype! Persona 4 was pretty much my favorite game until I discovered Dark Souls.

@Storyyeller: you only shoot yourself in the head in the 3rd game. The 4th game is much more bright and cheerful. And you don't have to (just) date girls, you gain power from making friendships too.

Actually, are there any Persona / Pony crossovers? Given the importance of developing relationships it's actually a really good fit.

I know there was supposed to be a Ponysona 4 thing. which honestly seems redundant, because it's basically MLP:FIM: the game anyways. Also Jungian psychology: the Game. And Symbolism: The game.

I have seen little of this game, but it already looks like one of the most insanely tightly themed things in existence. I am excited.

I actually sat down and worked those out one day. Not sure if I still have it around, but I know I at least wrote down their persona's.

Gah! Okay, leaving for real.

(Also Rarity would totally be the star, not the empress. the star is symbolic of glamour, flair, and general goodness. the empress is actually a very unpleasant Arcana. Twi Would be either the Hermit(mine!) or the Heirophant, not the magician. the magician is a showman; it suits Trixie much better. Lovers works for Fluttershy, as it symbolizes dual natures, but she'd also work for crossroads as well, which symbolizes duality. Strength works for AJ, as it refers to strength of character. Pinkie's would likely be the fool, which symbolizes infinite potential. Dash would likely be The Chariot, which symbolises self-assertion and dominance, reflecting her forward and boistrous nature. The emperor is bad for spike, as it symbolizes the need for control and to assert ones dominance. the hanged man is a bit better, as it symbolizes paradoxes, specifically the paradox of a bind that sets us free.)

I finally discovered the joys of custom firmware for my PSP.

Already got Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep backed up to my memory stick, and have a Doom port and a Game Boy/Game Gear/Master System emulator (it does all three) on it now. I tried an SNES emulator, but it was too buggy for my liking.

(staying out of most Persona discussion since I've yet to play Persona 4, and I've barely gotten in to Persona 3 Portable...)

Interesting

Actually it's about investigating the attacks of a serial killer. But the serial killer murders people by throwing them into another world filled with monsters. The main characters go in and try and save them when they are thrown in. So most of the time, no one is actually dying. The killer does murder at least 2 people before the characters catch on though.

And it does have its dark moments. A few very dark moments.

Well, I started reading that Harry Potter fanfic story was talking about. Just got to his meeting with Draco and it is cracking me up. I like where this is going.

My only real complaint with it is that Harry is kind of annoying and OOC. But it's fanfiction so, I guess it's okay. I'll read it later. My fanfic reading list is so long now... >_>

To be fair, his entire life has been completely different. It's hard to say what's in character when he suddenly doesn't have years of emotional abuse by the Dursleys. I'm far more weirded out by the fact that an 11 year old is dropping all this technical jargon.
