Taking the computer from Orion. I remember the old Full Metal Alchemist. As a little inside joke between my siblings, when Envy killed Hues, we joked that Envy killed the theme song.

[up]Now there needs to be a ponified Ed. :D

I downloaded brotherhood a while back, but I didn't get much into it. For some reason it just doesn't appeal to me... I think it's the pacing. I just have a hard time getting into something that starts so immediately, like it does. I'd like something that sort of goes slow first, weans into the action. Gives me a reason to care about the characters first, you know?

The first thing you notice about this picture tells you who is bestpony. The second thing reveals your fetish.

Exactly, that was part of why I hated brotherhood too. It felt so obvious to me how they were rushing it out just to have this anime based purely on the manga, it was absolutely sickening. No emotional tension, none of the same atmosphere, it made me want to watch the 2003 anime again, there was shadows, well done animation, good pacing, it was just perfect.

[up]It reveals the artist's fetish, they clearly have a thing for the busty. Also, the moe in that picture is sickening.

One thing that bugs me about manga is that almost all of them has some kind of Myth Arc that gets almost completely forgotten as the series to goes on, then gets brought up again later when the element suddenly feels oout of place

... I stopped reading Negima as well

@kegisak It get better, the reason why the pacing is fast is because 2003 already adapted it and even expanded scenes.

Brotherhood didn't want to bore the aduience with the similar story, so they had to rush trough to get to the Manga Exclusives story which is by episode 14.It get better from there.

And it truly gets awesome by episode 19.

I tried watching Brotherhood too, but couldn't make it past the beginning episodes because of the pacing. I would have rather the series paralleled the first until the breakpoint than do what they did.

@Colinispower, not my fault they created a subpar product with brotherhood, I mean the animation is so lazy. They cut up the first story from two episodes into one, killing any and all emotional tension, reveals, anything of interest.

It's soulless, rushed, confusing unless you've read the manga first, it's meant for the fanboys that want their anime to match the manga perfectly and it suffers for it immensely.

Animation lazy? Have you seen any of the later fight scene?, big emphasis for Wrath's.

As for seeing the Manga first, I never read the entire Manga, only saw 2003 three times then watch Brotherhood, the same amount.

Needless to say Brotherhood my number one fave anime right now.

Hello crowlover. How are you doing this evening?

Discussing FMA, are we? Yay, something I can contribute to in no way. Now if ay we were talking about Mushishi, then I'd be going hog wild.

Tyki Mikk is one of my all time favorite villains, but when I ever try to discuss him with anyone I just get confused looks because of how obscure the series is. tongue

Well I didn't get to wrath, I was too busy thinking about how soulless Hughes's death was. Hughes deserved betters. We learned to love him, but it was jsut so.. needless.
