@Badwolfwho Well, basically, the premise is that it's in the distant future, and earth isn't doing too well because the humans have kinda shat things up (yeah, the original was pretty lazily misanthropic). Then it turns out that Equestria is an actual place on earth, albeit it's a place that humans can't live because the magic is toxic. However, ponies start mingling with the humans, and eventually through a collaboration these "Conversion Bureaus" open up - places where humans can go to get turned into ponies.

Most versions of the universe end with the humans completely assimilated, either converted or killed because Equestria and its magic are expanding.

My story is set after the end, with a group of ponies who are descended from human converts and who want Princess Celestia to answer for genocide.

I've actually been wondering about the Conversion Bureau. What is it about it that inspired so many spinoff fics if the story itself is so bad? Was it just a really good idea that was poorly executed?
