Actually, it looked to me like it was a bit snowy on the inside there...maybe Father Winter was getting up to some off-seasonal shenanigans? It would sort of fit their villain theme so far - mucking with the natural order of things.

Hm. Methinks I sense a spoof Aesop possible in there - hey, kids, there's a natural and specific way things need to be done, and trying to break out of your lot will meet you with swift and powerful retribution!

The Hub hasn't been around all that long. It wouldn't surprise me to find they change or remove a few elements of their identity in the first year or so.
