Unlikely to be anything that would potentially make little girls not want to buy the wedding playlet.
This is the main reason I'm not too excited. Otherwise, I'd think Cadence is secretely Discord or something.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
I would still love for studio B to make the dark secret that Cadence isn't a real Alicorn or something like that. Just to troll Hasbro. (albeit Hasbro would likely know before the ep is aired and given it approval. Oh well.)

Yeah, I think that it will turn out that Shining Armor doesn't care about her secret. Either Cadence and/or Twilight will worry incessantly, but Shining Armor will just accept her or her mistakes and decide that he loves her anyway.

Dark secret: Cadence has a dark past filled with pony genetic engineering. The Mane 6 stumble upon her lab and accidentally end up creating evil clones of themselves.

Princess Cadence wants to marry so that her title gets upgraded from "Princess" to "Queen, " and as such she outranks Princess Celestia and takes over Equestria.
Hey Applelight, I hope everything works out. As for Cadence's dark secret, perhaps she's simply not who she claims to be. In this case perhaps Cadence was her twin sister, but the actual Cadence died so the pony currently calling herself Cadence took her sister's identity , deciding to live two lives because she couldn't handle the loss.
