Vinyl Scratch is just a fandom name, as far as I know. DJ PON-3 is psuedo canon due to that "Equestria Girls" commercial.

Background for Vinyl Scratch. Actually, I was just poking around Rarity's boutique yesterday and got caught up in their pony maker. I was thinking, what if we each used that thing to make Vinyl Scrathce's parents? Just cuz we have nothing else to talk about.

Actually, I think it would be awesome if they show Vinyl without her shades a ton, but with her eyes always obscured by the camera angle, or just closed. The uproar would be divine!

Would anyone be able to tell me an adaquate way of describing Rarity's mane style? Coiffed just means styled, I think, so that would be wrong... I think.

What if they do that so that fans think they're being trolled, and then it turns out that Vinyl was hypnotized and that's why they didn't show the eyes.

I hope they do show her eyes but it's something like green or purple. Just to screw with the fanons.

What would be really cool is if the eyes were continually shifting colors. Either one color in one shot and another in the next, or when you saw the eyes, they actually were changing from red to orange to yellow to green to blue to purple before your eyes.

I kind of hope they are red myself, or that we never see them. Burnt fannon smells horrible!

That would be neat, too. Or maybe in her eyes you could have an image of herself, with an image of herself inside, ad infinitum.

Vinyl actually lost her eyes in a tragic fireworks accident as a little filly. She lives in a world of constant darkness, but she has learned to appreciate the sounds all around her. Because of that accident, she took up music, always playing around, always experimenting. She didn't even realize that she'd gotten her cutie-mark until somepony told her.

However, her life wasn't easy. The other kids in school freaked out about her eyes, and ostracized her. So she took to hiding them behind shades and decided that she was going to become the life of every party.

That is how Vinyl Scratch became a DJ.

So, Blind Vinyl is shipped with Mute Octavia?

I liked it better when Scratch was Cyclops.

Well, if her eyes aren't canonically red, we can just say she loves fancy contacts or had her eye colour changed with maaaaaagic. After, she's a Unicorn, spells are what they can cast
