@Crow: What about Hamlet? All I know is that it's a story and you people really like it. I have yet to get into it though.

I read the earlier discussion about cookies vs. biscuits and whether or not the British have Girl Scouts—is it true that they are called "Girl Guides" in the UK? Something like that was mentioned in one of the stories from American Girls Collection and I wasn't sure if that was just in the past or is something that is still relevant today. Also, the biscuit/cookie thing was one of the first vocabulary differences I learned about when it comes to the US vs. the UK (I've been interested in accents and dialects since I was pretty young).

Makes me wonder if the ponies have anything similar to the Girl Scouts and/or Boy Scouts.

Ginger. You need to learn something that I learned years ago. Don't worry so much and just read the damn thing (This applies to any works of fiction) nobody can tell you how good a fic is.

@Seraph ... I don't read fanfiction to laugh... well... I read stories to feel a range of emotions... happiness being one of them, but the fact that i's funny doesn't automatically excuse everything else

Ah, but I'm capable of becoming invested in something without actually enjoying it... if I read without being sure that I'll like it, then I could end up trapped miserably and compulsively reading

Then again, for Hamlet to be a pig, just Gerturde and his father would just need to be pigs. Claudius might be a pig just because, and blahblahblahyadayadayada...

And on a random note I am gushing in joyous glee over the attack animation for the units in SRW Z2 Saisei-hen.

@Red Because the primary purpose of those fics is to inspire sadness...

I like stories with large sprawling plots. Interesting and likable characters. A competent and compelling villain. Awesome dialogue and character interactions

I swore to myself not to read TTEOAP until the damn rewrite was finished to save myself headaches.
