My friends always tell me that facial hair doesn't suit me, but every time I grow a beard everybody else gives me really nice compliments about it so I'm always confused. Of course, the only reason I ever grow a beard is because I'm sick of shaving. Sometimes I wonder if you can get laser hair treatment on your face. It would make things so much easier.

My hair isn't short it's just poofy. Don't know how to make it an afro though.

You can wax it off? It hurts, but not that much. And it lasts for, like 4-6 weeks. Girls do it all the time!

I've been wondering that too. Other than myself, who else is a girl?

@Islemmer:(Bah, waited to long to check back here... searching for apartments and getting distracted) My hair is just a bit past shoulder length, now. I had been growing it for four years when I last cut it, and it was about waist-length, then.

I tend to wear a full beard most of the time. I don't really feel the need to shave every day, and to be honest it makes me look a bit older, which is nice at this point. I'm a bit baby-faced, so without it I'd look barely 15 or 16. Makes it hard to do certain things...

Yeah... I should have spent more time looking for apartments. On-campus housing at my university is really expensive, at least really expensive for Texas- one of my friends went to a different college and pays a quarter of what I pay. It actually costs more than tuition. Which I find kind of amazing. But I'm living on campus next year again.... Even though there are pretty cheap apartments.... sigh.

I don't have one ATM. I just shaved off a weeks worth of stubble the other day.

I generally like to keep clean shaven. Only reason I don't shave sometimes is due to laziness.

Colinispower has a small stubble beard, though I can expect him to shave by the end of the day. However, he does have a mustache that he keeps.

I used to have some utterly hideous sideburns in high school. Saw my school's production of Les Miserables and thought they looked cool.

I had an amish-looking beard in college because I didn't have a good trimmer. I keep it a lot shorter nowadays.

If I ever get cast as Javert in Les Miserables I'll have the perfect excuse to grow them back. And hopefully get them in a way that doesn't look awful.

But yeah. Sideburns are the only facial hair I like. Don't fancy having a beard or a mustache.
