Someone mind explaining the whole pony and Dan Backslide thing?
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
And then Shining Armor, Snips, and Snails can come in with Shining Armor yelling "Unhand her, Dan Backslide!"
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Sorry Crow. If knew how to link to tropes, I would have linked "you're no fun anymore" to Monty Python.
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
That sketch is so underrated.
Let's see:

Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
In the brackets, and no space between Monty and Python.
Okay, I'm going to bed. Talk to you guys tomorrow.
You're no fun anymore
Whoa, what?

@JT Goodnight. Going to stay up for a bit longer because math.
The Dan Backslide thing:
Some people really liked his quote: "Confound those Dover Boys! I hate them! I hate Tom! I hate Dick! I hate Larry! They drive me to drink!" (or something along those lines). They liked it enough that they shifted it so that it was simply "Confound those ponies! They drive me to drink!" As, I dunno, frustration over finding yourself liking the show. It's like, a denialist new herd-member's call, or something.
Less often is "NO-ONE WILL EVER KNOW!" shifted to "
NO-ONE MUST EVER KNOW!"
I have a message from another time...
@Enlong: Ah, that makes a lot of sense.
And it is late over here. Night everyone.
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
The Photo Finish song didn't seem that impressive to me.
Incidentally, you've now gotten me reading about Voyager on Wikipedia.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Oh, and one more thing: "confound these ponies! They drive me to drink!" is also popular with a shot of Twilight
pouring what she couldn't have known was hot sauce into a goblet in exasperation.

Was that meme ever updated for the cider episode?
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
That was a season 2 episode, and season 2's villain was Magneto... wasn't it?
Magneto only appeared at the end of season 1 though.
